Kimberly Klerner joined the Integrity team in 2008. She manages our service line pertaining to abatements and tax credits. Kim spent 13 years working in Allen County Government. While working in Auditor’s offices Kim was responsible for property tax exemption applications and scheduling appeal hearings. She also processed surplus tax claims. Her knowledge and responsibilities ramped up when her position transferred to the Assessor’s office. Kim gained her Level I & Level II and a basic knowledge of personal property, mobile homes, inheritance tax and residential & commercial assessment. In early 2001 she was given the responsibility of Reassessment Coordinator for the 2002 reassessment. Bringing this knowledge base and her willingness to be of service to the Integrity team is why during her first year with Integrity, Kim was promoted to the position of Service Manager.
In addition to managing our Service Team, Kim has assisted with the implementation of our new service database. In addition to managing the team, Kim also provides additional administrative support by keeping our clients up to date on county deadlines and assessment mailings pertaining to their locations.
Maintaining her Level II Assessor-Appraiser Certification and holding the Certified Tax Representative designation, Kim attends the semi-annual conferences offered in Indiana and also attends educational courses offered by the Department of Local Government Finance and the IAAO.
In order to ensure that staff morale remains high, even during the rush of deadlines, Kim also organizes cook-outs, parties and holiday outings.
